Her interests take her many places within the art world beyond photography. She exhibits her monoprints as well as her photography and scanography in many galleries in Wisconsin and has gotten many awards from her exhibitions. Expression is one of life’s greatest gifts, sharing is one of its responsibilities. Photography is an avenue of expression, as an appreciation for all of the arts are felt, explored and admired; Joy of the journey, captured on film. Susan developed her craft through two art degrees, displaying, teaching and sharing. She uses her camera as traditional artists use their canvas and paint. Susan often states “Art is always a work in process, as the ‘enemy of learning, is knowing’.”

With a diverse theme to most of her art, reflecting nature is her specialty. As an artist, foodie and Master Gardener she is on several executive boards lending her experience in her community.
